How to ...Brunoise Carrots!

Mon ChiChi!!

Incredibly cute cake!! Pretty easy to make too! With a quick visit to Bulk Barn, you can pick up everything you need to make this cake. I would add a licorice mustache (but then again I think a mustache on anything makes it instantly more adorable!).

21st Century thoughts...

Flipping the classroom...
This is a term I haven't heard before. But it is nothing new. It basically means your incorporating various learning tools and materials into your teaching to enhance information retention for the student. Being in the "21st" century, it is only natural that theses new materials involve multimedia.
I think its important to keep current with what younger students today are already exposed to.
Having interactive games and videos that they can watch and play on there own time encourages constant learning, in a way they might not realise.
Kinda sneaky! lol

Lifelong learning

Lifelong learning is important because I want to challenge myself to grow. The more education I have the more self esteem and personal pride I have in myself. In addition to feeling personal growth, I believe it is important to constantly evolve as a teacher. Trying new teaching techniques and applying them in my classroom not only shows students I care by staying current, it also is leading my students by example.Maintaining lifelong learning will be important as a teacher, student and a human being.
